A super example of an deep orange/red, long prismatic, crocoite crystals filling cavities in limonite matrix.

The specimen dates back to 1979 when it was bought by the late Irish collector, Harry J Foy, from the famous Cornish mineral dealer, Richard (Dick) Barstow.

Unfortunately Dick Barstow died at a relatively young age, however his name is synonymous with UK mineral collecting.

The specimen comes with its original Barstow 'green' label and has a Harry Foy label glued to its rear.

This specimen has tall....beautiful crystals and a fantastic provenance.
