HEULANDITE, CELADONITE & CHALCEDONY CRYSTALS - Janjala, Maharashtra, India
A beautiful specimen from a recent new find at Janjala Village Forest in India's Maharashtra region consisting of beautifully formed heulandite crystals displaying a lovely translucent green colour.
The green colour is caused by inclusions of the green mica mineral, celadonite.
Many of the heulandite crystals also have a light coating of small colourless, chalcedonic quartz crystals.
