Gmelinite-Na & Natrolite Crystals - Little Deer Park Quarry, Glenarm, Northern Ireland
SOLD - Basalt matrix with an amygdale lined with a lovely combination of bright orange gmelinite-na crystals associated with small colourless analcime crystals and a radial spray of natrolite crystals.
The natrolite crystals also display a core of white gonnardite, one of the rarer zeolite minerals found in the Antrim Basalt Formation.
